 The Three Cities of Tripoli

Day 1   Fly into Jerba International Airport.
Day 2   From Jerba travel to Tripoli, visiting Sabratha en route.
Day 3   Visit Tripoli's museum and the ruins of Oea.
Day 4   Spend the day in the city of Leptis Magna and continue on to Misratha
Day 5   Return to Tripoli to spend a relaxing day touring the city.
Day 6   Travel to Jerba.


 The Green Strip

Day 1   Fly into Jerba International Airport.
Day 2   Travel by bus to Tripoli.
Day 3   Spend the day in the city of Leptis Magna and carry on to Misratha.
Day 4   Continue around the Gulf of Sirte to Benghazi.
Day 5   Visit Tokra and Polemais and continue on to Bayda.
Day 6   Spend the day touring Cyrene and Apollonia and return to Benghazi.
Day 7   From Benghazi travel to Ghirza to visit the ruins and go on to Misratha.
Day 8   Continue to Tripoli for sightseeing.
Day 9   Visit the museum, souks and medina of Tripoli.
Day 10   Return to Jerba.


 The Sahara

Day 1   After arrival at Jerba, travel by road to Ksar Hadada and on to Tataouine.
Day 2   Cross border into Libya to visit Ksar Nalut and go on to Ghadames.
Day 3   Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Ghadames; visit the museum and have lunch in a traditional house of the old city.
Day 4   From Ghadames, cross the desert to Germa in a 4WD and settle in at Germa Camp.
Day 5   Spend an entire day visiting the dunes of Ramalat Dawada, Gabroun Lake and Mandala Lake before returning to camp in the evening.
Day 6   Take a day trip to the Matandush rock carvings and return to Germa Camp.
Day 7   Visit the ruins of Germa and continue  to Houn.
Day 8   Travel from Houn to Misratha.
Day 9   Travel  to Tripoli, visiting the splendid ruins of Leptis Magna en route.
Day 10   Visit Sabratha on the way back to Jerba



 Libyan Grand Tour

Day 1    Arrive at Jerba. Travel by road to Tripoli.
Day 2    Visit ruins of Sabratha in the morning and Tripoli museum in the afternoon.
Day 3    Travel to Nalut for a visit of Ksar Nalut and go on to Ghadames.
Day 4    Spend the day visiting Ghadames.
Day 5    Travel across the desert from Ghadames to Germa Camp.
Day 6    Visit Ramlat Dawada, Gabroun Lake, and Mandala Lake, returning to Germa camp at night.
Day 7    Day trip to Matandush to see rock carvings. Return to Germa camp at night.
Day 8    After visiting the ruins of Germa, travel to Houn.

 Libya and the South of Tunisia

Day 1   Fly into Jerba International Airport.
Day 2   Travel to Tataouine visiting Matmata and Ksar Hadada en route.
Day 3   Cross into Libya and visit Kasr Nalut and go on to Ghadames.
Day 4   Spend the day at Ghadames and have lunch in a traditional house.
Day 5   Leave Ghadames for Houn.
Day 6   Continue around the Gulf of Sirte to Benghazi.
Day 7   Visit Tokra and Ptolemais and go to Bayda.
Day 8   Visit Cyrene and Appolobia before returning to Benghazi.
Day 9   Visit Ghiza on the way to Misratha.
Day 10   Spend the day sightseeing at Leptis Magna and continue to Tripoli.
Day 11   Return to Jerba, visiting Sabratha en route.
